Troop Camping Rules
The following are our Troop Policies and Guidelines for camping trips.
Our troop policy is to wear Class A uniforms while traveling to and from our destinations. Wear your Class B t-shirt under your Class A shirt.
The troop policy is no electronic devices on camping trips! This includes radios, cell phones, CD players, walkie-talkies, walk-about radios, pagers, TV's. There will be one emergency cell phone with a Leader.
The troop does not furnish paper products for camping trips. Each scout must bring his own eating bowl, eating utensils, drinking cup, and water bottle.
Each patrol should bring a daypack to carry small items and share the load.
Things to bring:
- Mess Kit
- Eating Utensils
- Cup
- Water Bottle
- Personal Hygiene items
- Knife

- Compass
- 50 ft. of rope
- Scout Handbook
- Personal sleeping bag
- COMPLETE Class A Uniform
- Clothing: extra shoes, socks, T-shirt, pants

- Poncho or rain gear
- Troop hat
- Flashlight AND batteries
- First Aid Kit

Share Scout spirit: Patrols should be prepared to sing a song, perform a skit, or tell clean and appropriate jokes at the evening campfire.
Scouts should have at least $5 to buy lunch on the return trip. You may bring your own lunch for the return trip - if you can keep from eating it until Sunday!
