Definition of Take Orders and Orders On-Line

 

Take Orders – these are the orders that each scouts takes when they are out on the streets selling popcorn. It is the same order form as the blue product sheets have on them.

 

On-Line Orders – this is a totally separate system for you to send out to relatives, family and friends who are out of town and would like to support you in buying popcorn. You go in ahead of time and create an account yourself. Once in that system you can actually email your friends, family and relatives from the this system and it will give them a way to order using your code and giving you credit.

 

How To Put in Take Orders

 

  1. http://scouting.trails-end.com/tesales/scoutarea/scoutlogin.asp

  2. You must have a user name and password in order to get in to place your orders. Please see the Popcorn Colonel (Chairperson) in order to get that.

  3. Put your login user name and password in, choose a theme (you will have to choose each time you go in but it does not matter which you choose it just gives you a different look.

  4. Once you are in then find the link that says “Ordering” and click on it.

  5. Then you will see a form just like the blue sheet, fill in each field starting with customer name, email if you have it and then put the number of units (not cases) in each box.

  6. Check mark if they have paid.

  7. When you have completed the form click on “Submit Completed Rows To Unit” and it will be sent to me for approval

 

Couple of NOTES:

 

Please fill in on a weekly basis, once you fill one sheet another one will magically appear to continue to fill in.

 

If you can’t go on-line to do this please bring your sheets in every week to the scout house (on Tuesday Night) and we will find someone to key in those orders.

 

DO NOT PUT IN SHOW AND SELL ORDERS HERE OR TRACK SHOW AND SELL ORDERS HERE!

 

Please turn in your order money each week for safety and accounting reasons – make sure to check in with either the Colonel, Lisa Tugman or Liz Rhines. DO NOT TAKE IT TO GARY OUR ACCOUNTANT – he will not accept it from you.
