Plan:
-
Organize our efforts to make
this the best selling year ever by:
-
Getting locations for
boys to sell popcorn
-
Find corporate sales
-
Scouts selling door to
door and elsewhere
-
Do a Kickoff Meeting –
Fun with Popcorn – we will have section where kids can play popcorn
activities and enjoy eating popcorn and snacks
-
Keep enthusiasm up with
weekly give-a-ways
-
On October 3rd,
the kick off of sales, we plan on sending groups of 4-6 boys out with an
adult going into neighborhoods to do neighborhood blitzes selling
popcorn. The boys will be paired up in twos for safety. We will ask
kids to volunteer neighborhoods near them so that when it comes time for
delivery it will be their responsibility to deliver the popcorn. All
sales in that neighborhood will be divided equally between the boys who
participate.
-
Ask for creative photos,
stories and videos of popcorn sales to submit to Council for contest and
fun.
Parents
Support – We will ask parents to volunteer in the following ways:
-
Drivers for Blitz day
-
Parents who could video tape
different angles of the Kick off meeting for the contest
-
Parents to be at locations –
Lowes and Harris Teeter to help
-
Volunteer for set up on the
kick off day
-
Bring us leads for corporate
sales of popcorn
-
Gift donations – give
themselves and solicit from others
