Congratulations Mr. Dan
The Boy Scouts of America presented Troop 13 Scoutmaster Dan Schulte with the Silver Beaver award on April 26, 2012. The Silver Beaver is the highest recognition awarded to Scouters within the jurisdiction of a local territory. The award is in recognition of noteworthy service of exceptional character to youth. Dan has served as Scoutmaster for Troop 13 since 2000 and served as Cubmaster for Pack 13 from 1996-2000. Dan and his brothers were involved in scouting as youth and his father also earned the Silver Beaver award. Dan's wife Judy is active with the Girl Scouts and serves on the BSA Mecklenburg County Executive Board. Their sons Nathan and Jack are both Eagle Scouts and daughter, Maddy, is a Senior Girl Scout working towards her Gold. All of Troop 13 leaders, parents and scouts wish to congratulate Dan on his award and thank him for his dedication to the scouting program and Troop 13
